About the event
I cannot believe how a silly idea to haul my sewing machine into a store to sew on patches has continued to evolve and grow. FREE REPAIRS open to the community at one of my favorite spaces- the LIBRARY.
I grew up a library kid, now my kid is a library kid and now I'm hauling my sewing machine to my local library to sew stuff for my community. Somebody pinch me.
I'll share my skills if you share your stories about the sweater you love so much the button fell off or where you found the perfect jeans with the threadbare thighs.
