Coat Upcycled from a Quilted Bedspread, XL/2XL

Found a quilt in my parents' closet while looking for my mom's wedding dress. Repurposed another for the sleeves. Now it's ready to keep you warm in a new way.
 
Given that quilt coats can be a polarizing subject, I'm both delighted (and just a tad disheartened) that this bedspread originated from JC Penney, not some grandma's beloved craft room.
 
Measurements always taken lying flat:
Bust 30"
Waist 29"
Hip 29.5"
Shoulder to hem 28"
Sleeve 25.5" (can be cuffed)
 
Wash on delicate and lay flat to dry to help lengthen the life of this garment.
