Barbie Tote Upcycled From A Doll Trunk
Snagged this Barbie trunk at a garage sale this summer because of all the Barbie hype and because I am drawn to hot pink like moth to a flame. Finally got around to figuring out what to do with it and that doing ended up being a couple tote bags topped with straps made from a popped pool float filled with confetti.
Ended up with two totes in two sizes and switched up where the pocket wanted to hang out. The back is made of deadstock canvas and you'll love the floral surprise inside that I forgot to photograph.
Small measures about 11.5" x 10" and has an interior pocket made of neon pink pool floaty
Large measures about 13.5" x 11" with an exterior pool floaty pocket and interior magnetic closure
