A teeny grommet in each corner for easy hanging.
I only intended to make one of these as an act of craftivism. It was meant to live outside- so it’s made of repurposed materials (AKA trash) that can withstand Minnesotan elements.
But it turns out there was a small demand for more. So I made another small handful. 2 have been sent to the Minneapolis-area friends who have been spreading so much love and support. 2 are available for sale.
They are scrappy. They are imperfect. They are time consuming to make. Again, they are made of trash.
The last thing I want is for this to turn into a marketing scheme. My hope is that you’ll purchase one only if you had a deep desire to own one, not for proceeds to go towards a feel-good purchase. They are ending up where they are needed whether you fund this project or not.

A major part of my process includes repurposing materials that would otherwise be thrown away. Because there's already enough cool stuff in the world and we don't have to start from scratch to make something new.
