Art invites us to put onto paper what we are feeling. And so far this year there’s been a lot of feelings. So what better way to process them than layering shapes, collaging scraps like a community coming together and scribbling angrily with yarn.
This piece is part of a small collection of works inspired by a year in Minnesota so far.

A major part of my process includes repurposing materials that would otherwise be thrown away. Because there's already enough cool stuff in the world and we don't have to start from scratch to make something new.
